Ok I found a way to appeal to the Jr Stock Analyst in me. The site is feelingbullish.com. I’ve created a profile there and posted some stock picks.
The premise of the site is that the community posts their analysis and picks. Based on the performance and accuracy of the picks, the users get FB (feeling bullish) points. The higher your points the better your analysis/picks are. All users can see your picks and performance of those picks.
They have a badge you can put on your website with your current picks, but I couldn’t get it to work properly on blogger. I’m assuming they have some javascripting turned off, but I haven’t honestly put much effort to get it to work. After all I’ll have to see how much loyalty I have to the site. It seems like a good idea. Over time the user-generated content will make the site more sticky for users like me that just want to vent out their picks to the world or the casual browser looking for stock ideas.

You should put a “buy” on some LED company … I’m sure there are some.
