What’s with Lou Dobbs?

I used to watch “Lou Dobbs Moneyline” on CNN religiously. That was years ago. Over time, I noticed that he started having more derogatory pieces on immigration and offshoring. It’s gotten to the point where his show now is basically a lambast against immigration and anything foreign. I wonder if its ratings driven. Who wouldn’t like to see an old man bitch about foreigners? The population is aging. Perhaps the U.S. AARP members can associate with this guy. Tonight he has a special on immigration reform. Basically I think he’s saying “Immigration bad. Americans good. Foreigners bad.” Oh and the Patriot Act… Well if it keeps out the foreigners it must be good too.

If anyone knows any cause for this empirical, please post a comment with any link to info. I’m very curious. My guess is its the ratings and book sales that’s driving this big change.
