Million Dollar Challenge Almost Over – I’m in the top 2%

I’m very disappointed in myself. With my focus on my own portfolio, I’ve only managed to crack the top 2% of the CNBC Million Dollar Challenge. I set a goal to crack the top 1%. That didn’t happen.

I was on the site today and there’s a “Second Chance” contest that will start soon for those that didn’t make it into the finals. I started half-way in the original contest. I’ve registered for the second chance contest. I MUST break the 1% barrier this time. I’m having a little bit of trader’s block. I can’t figure out what to play in the last week of the contest. In real life I would not force myself to buy something, but I feel compelled to do so in the contest.

36.4% in a few weeks. Not bad, but not good enough.

Can’t wait to see if my Apple option pans out in real life. I think I’m becoming an Apple specialist. I might have to get that Apple TV soon to play the part. If anyone can get their hands on an Apple Bar Guru shirt you’ve got a taker.
