3 New Widgets in Sidebar

My top options holdings right now are Apple and Valero so I decided to add some widgets to my sidebar.  One tracks the days until the iPhone launch.  I will be selling into the inevitable media blitz.  The other widget tracks the average gas price.  While it is painful at the pump, I feel better knowing that my Valero is probably doing well.

The last widget I added was gold.  I have a decent position in gold.  Unfortunately my average cost-basis is $668/oz.   A great resource for gold and other metals is monex.com.  I purchased half my position from them.  The other half of my position I opened with everbank’s Metals Select.  I am somewhat disapointed with the Metals Select account’s lack of online management.  I was really expecting to be able to liquidate and add position from the website.  The feature is notably missing, but I do avoid storage or shipping fees.
