I just saw the following excerpt from “The Green Book.”

Go paperless on brokerage data
If every U.S. investor gave up statements, it would save enough paper to fill the New York Stock exchange from floor to ceiling.

It seems quite obvious.  Less paper - less waste.  Check your mailbox.  How many statements can you avoid?  Sign up for electronic statements.
