I mentioned investing in BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China) in an earlier post - adding to your international exposure. The C in BRIC stands for China, the largest market. It is only fair that I give you a few suggestions.
Here are my top China stock picks:
- China Mobile (CHL) - China’s largest mobile phone operator
- 22.7% Profit Margin
- 22.4% Sales Growth
- Fastest growing cellular market
- Focus Media (FMCN) - operates out-of-home advertising network in the People’s Republic of China using audiovisual television displays
- 37.3% Profit Margin
- 135% Sales Growth
- Advertising is still developing in this burgeoning market
- China Medical Technologies (CMED) - medical device company that develops, manufactures and markets products using high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for the treatment of solid cancers and benign tumors
- 48.6% Profit Margin
- 51% Sales Growth
- Making a play to become a global device manufacturer
- China Finance Online (JRJC) - provides online financial and listed company data and information. The CNBC/Reuters of China.
- 8.57% Profit Margin
The last stock - JRJC is a great day-trade stock in my opinion. I would buy it on $1.00+ retracements and sell on $1.0 upswings. You could also sell first on downswings and cover on upswings as well. You could do this 5-6 times in a day with this stock. If you have about $2,000 in trading money this could mean earning $300+/day in trading this stock. I haven’t personally day-traded it yet, but my good friend has been for the past 2 weeks with much success.
